Help Shape the Future of SISTALAND - TOGETHER.

Shape What Comes Next

SISTALAND is evolving—and we’re looking to grow with the right people by our side.

As we enter this next chapter, we’re opening up volunteer opportunities to help shape SISTALAND into a sustainable, community-first platform. These roles are currently unpaid, but we’re working toward funding and are committed to compensating contributors as we reach key brand milestones.

We’re also developing a mentoring strand, and would love to hear from creatives who are interested in giving back through 1:1 mentoring, group mentoring, or creative coaching as part of a future offering for our members.

If you’re passionate about building inclusive, collaborative spaces for women, non-binary and trans creatives in film and media—this is your chance to help lead the way.

We’re looking for hands-on, heart-first people who care about the future of women and underrepresented creatives in film and the wider industry. Help shape community-led ideas, content and action that drive real change—where it’s most needed.

1. Join Our Core Team

We’re looking for a small team (5 roles available) of dedicated creative collaborators to help shape the next phase of SISTALAND. These are volunteer roles for now, but we’re working toward paid positions as we hit key funding and brand milestones.

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Passionate about building inclusive creative spaces

  • Experienced in film, design, media, or adjacent industries

  • Happy to commit a few hours a month to support strategy, events or community planning

  • Excited to collaborate, contribute ideas, and bring energy to the space

2. BECOME A MENTOR (minimum 3 years' experience)

We’re also building a small network of volunteer mentors to support emerging women, trans and non-binary creatives in film and media.

If you’ve worked as a Head of Department, taught in a creative education role, or mentored before—we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for MENTORS who are:

  • Passionate about supporting the next generation of underrepresented creatives

  • Experienced in film, media, design, or adjacent creative industries (minimum 3 years)

  • Able to commit a few hours a month for 1:1s, group sessions or creative feedback

  • Open, collaborative, and excited to share knowledge with care and generosity
